I have a 91 civic hatch (STD), i am putting in a ls in it and i live in florida so it is really hot, so i want a/c. People tell me just get the hasport mount and u will be good, and others they say u need to modify the a/c lines. So i was wondering if i get the hasport mount will i need to do any modding except to bang the metal a lil bit so it can fit. So how does this mount work?
i have never tried to keep ac in an ef, but have been told all it takes, is the mount. that way it keeps the compressor where it is and doesnt need to modify.
(but thats what i was told)
on a side note, you do know you will have to swap your spindles correct?
b series axles dont fit std spindles.
just get a pair of dx stock spindles.

you dont need to get a new evaporator, unless there is a leak in it. just get the mount and you'll be good. the evaporrator is under the dash and has nothing to do with mounting the compressor or getting it to work with the bracket.

you'll also need a slim fan to replace the condensor fan. other than that you can re-use all the other lines from your old system.
