why do you want to do that? im guessing your talking about the fitv thats right under the throttle body? i guess you could plug the hose off. your car might not idle too good when its cold though.

I'd suggest doing all maintence (Major tune up, air/fuel filter, replace main relay,) check for codes and fix them. Fill your tires, make sure they're good. Do those things and you'll get max fuel economy. Also, coast when possible, and pop into neutral when approaching stops. I got 500 miles on a tank of gas in my 89 civc sedan with a 1.5. Driver habits and vehicle condition greatly affect gas mileage. Don't go against factory design bypassing anything. WOn't do any good in the long run. Keep it all original. My car isn't modified at all, all Honda parts, and completely stock and I've seen 46 Mpg thus far.

make sure you check the "archived content" radio button when you search. the general search is fairly worthless. also keeping it to a max of 2 words seems to help also.

as someone else said, just doing tune-up type things can really help. I think the most expensive but best improvement you can make is new wheel bearings all around.
