Default Suspension Compatibility

I've been looking to pick up a set of coilovers for my db but I have seen many sellers list that 92-00 civics & 94-00 integras are all compatible and other sellers listing only 92-95 civics are compatible. my main question is are all 92-00 civic shocks/struts/coilovers compatible with 94-00 integras?

thank you

Not necessarily

EG suspension and Integra suspensions are fully interchangable
You can install some, if not most EG/Integra Suspension onto an EK
BUT you cannot install EK suspension into a DC or an EG

Maybe alot of makers of suspension make specific lower mounts for the EK chassis but there is also plenty (like tokico) that make their shocks with the EG/DC lower mount therefore making them universal for 92-00 Civics and Integras

The reason i said it was compatible because the front is no problem

a mount that works on an eg will not work on an ek lca, it's that simple. sure, you could add washers, but that doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

to the original poster, it should also be noted that itr rear lcas are different than all others. nothing marked itr will work for you unless you switch to itr lcas.

always been curious of this. I know the issue with the rear lca bushing widths, but if i buy aftermarket EG lcas for my ek, could I then use eg rear suspension? Basically will eg rear lcas fit an ek without throwing off alignment?

Good info

NO, eg and teg LCAs are not compatible with EKs

there is no problem using a spacers in the lca
(if there was, companies like Tokico would not risk it. Its just that perfectionists cant stand the thought of spacers)

the EG/DC bushing is wider than the EK bushing. thats why a EG/DC rear shock can fit an EK with washer/shim/spacers. but an EK shock cannot fit on an EG/DC.

heck, even the EF rear shock can work since the LCA are basically the same throughout EG and DC.

the EK LCA itself is completely different then all others.
