Default Are you happy with your "mini-me?"

I've been wanting to this swap for a while and just picked up a Z6 head last week.
I'm going to be using
A6: block, intake mani, dist, cam gear
Z6: head
y8: fuel pressusre regulator
stock si ecu w/ ghetto vtec switch (for now)

Before I put it on I just wanted to know if you guys are hapy with your mini-me setup. Any installation tips would also be helpful.
thanks

use a z6 manifold so you make your upgrading options alot better
you can mount a b series throttle body on your d series you can put an LS, GSR, Even type R. I got a JG throttle body for a Type R on my Z6
just a suggestion. Also if you can try get a hold of a fiels Vtec controller
you can adjust your fuel curves on your non vtec ecu to a simlar curves of a vtec ecu or even better. Y8 fuel pressure regulator won't bolt on the A6 rail nor will the Y8 rail boltup to the ag manifold. Thats why i say go with the z6 so you can use that vtec regulator or you could also just get a b&m fuel pressure regulator. I did all this back yard mini me stuff and i pulled a 15.5 consistant and 86 mph hour. just letting you know all the stuff i went through.hope you have fun and hope i helped you out

I have the Z6 intake manifold but I heard that the sensors are different than the A6. The Z6 FPR is damaged so i'm looking for other options before I get an adjustable one. I can get a Y8 FPR free but I guess it doesn't matter since it won't bolt up. I'm also going to use a new A6 head gasket (since I already bought one)

34 psi of fuel, **** i'm running between 50 and 55 !!!

Try to find a pg7 ecu form a 88-89 teg, you can then take full advantage of the motor

PL

(Edit: wrote fuel instead of full)
