How do you chages the spark plugs in an 2008 honda civic Si???

It's really my friend and he this whated to put performance spark plugs.... Yeah IDK why but it's his car.

stock plugs are good enough. spark plugs don't magically give you an increase in power. no matter what plug you use.

Plus it's an 08, plugs are still fresh.

I guess the factory NGK Iridiums just don't cut it nowadays.

he's probably planning on the pulstar plugs. am i right?

either way. you have to remove the windshield cowel. pull the coilpacks up and then remove the plugs.

Not to jack the thread. But when should you change spark plugs on the SI. I have an 06 with 45K on it. Also are they iridium or platinum in the 06 SI??

Well I have heard that they are platinum, and I also have heard iridium. So just trying to clarify.

Owners manual says they are Iridium. And since we both have the same car....they should be Iridium for you to.

it runs smoother.
definite increase in gas mileage.
like a couple mpg's, but i noticed after the first full tank i drove, i got an additional 25 miles then it just got up to 31 after my ecu peaked. cuz i disconnected the battery.
