my crx wont go into first gear without force
I just recently got a crx and the shifting was very solid with very little play at all. However, recently i noticed there is some play when in gear and it is hard to put it into first gear. All the other gears are easy to put in but for some reason i feel like i have to jam it into first to get going. Whats the problem and how can it be resloved?
well its just as difficult to get it into reverse too but all the other gears go in fine. I think it has a short shifter and the engine was swapped for a b18b. I can get it in gear once i find it and jam it in there but i dont wanna damage anything.
that sound like you need to adjust the cable, if its out of adjustment its hard to get into first , especially when not moving
Uh oh....dude, dont ruin your car trying to fix it.
If you are asking these kinds of questions, like, "what cable" then go to your local auto parts store and pick up the book to your car. It will end up being your bible, along with the FAQ section here at the top of the forum.
