i just sold a ef hatch with b18b full swap. i liked it could have made nice power. it was mostly a stock engine. now my daily is a crx with a b16. much better feel, faster, and well taking the rpm's up that high and having vtec is very nice. adding a turbo to the mix on either would be a fun ride for sure.

b18c [freak] the ls

turbo @ 9psi ez 300+ hp and pretty reliable if tuned good, will pull plenty for you i bet, plus you can build up the gsr a bit, throw on a better intake mani, injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump, and run like 14psi and push 400hp pretty ez if you add those upgrades, but you probably wont want too for a while

edit: learn to spell motor before you try to install one

I'd run the B18b then put a VTEC head on it later. LS/VTECs make great power and are reliable as any other Honda motor when properly put together.

Personally b18b... you have a very open road with either motor... But the b18b can be more reliable with less money with the same mods.

But depending where you are at... LS/vted can be a good way to go too.

I really like my b18a. Feels pretty good in the crx...good power to wieght ratio. Saving for a turbo myself...have heard there isnt much of a better setup then turbod LS.
