Just wanted to share a successful weekend for the Honda guys at last weekend's Time Attack at Auto Club Speedway. It was a bit of a dramatic weekend with our motor dropping a valve on saturday afternoon. The guys at Sport Car Motion really showed their dedication by packing up their bags and driving back to San Diego to take out another spare motor from their other street car and then to swap it back into the EG . We took a risk to run the motor untuned but we just wanted to get a time in. Our first practice session we managed to run a 1:54 with passenger and managed to get it down to 1:51 for our final timed session. Our next event will be at Super Lap Battle Buttonwillow

It was a pleasure driving with SCM's EG driven by Tim. Even if I wasn't suppose to be in that class I now see why you place 1st every time. I'm the guy with the black RSX you took a picture of (that's not me in the picture because I'm probably behind the car bleeding the brakes).

Thanks guys! We've been really working hard to try to dial the car in from day 1. Compared to my S2K, the civic is much more difficult to setup...(for me anyways).

lol no Tim we do not know each other, and I don't go to UCI, although I do partake in the club's events. I'm pretty sure you know Gideon (sp?) though, he is Charle's boss and told us that you and him used to have fun in your s2k's at SOW.

I love both scm and tage's civic. They need to be featured in a magazine. I look at both their cars for inspiration.
