alright my bike (02 f4i) came with a undertail with the 2 led tail lights. Now the lights have basically 2 circuits, the outer ring, and the inner circle of 4 led's. Now the lights only have 3 wires coming out. A ground, a power for the outer led's, and a power for the inner led's. I have tried every possible combination that I can think of and there is no way I can get the running lights, blinkers, and brake lights to function all in one with these is there? This kid before me had a cluster fu** of wires, so I ripped them all out and started fresh.
If I wire the blinkers to the outer led with the running lights, the blinkers wont blink. If I wire the blinkers with the brake light I can get the running lights to work, the brake lights to work, but with the blinker on and hitting the brake the blinkers wont flash anymore.

Is there anything at all I can do or buy some kind of switch for these to all work, or am I stuck buying flush mount blinkers as well?

 

if i remember, you wire the running lights to one of the wires (inner or outter ring). and you splice the turn signals and brake lights together.. so when you step on the brakes both light up, but when your just riding and signal, only the left or right blinks.

now when your on the brakes and signal at the same time, i doubt your signals from the back will be visable.. im not sure.

 

yea, i tried to do that but I still cant seem to get it to work and when you hit the brake, you can see both turn signal indicators light up on the cluster area....guess my only alternative is to not have blinkers when i brake...not have running lights (def cant have that) or get flush mount blinkers

 

thats off the hotbodies website.. which should be the same, if not similar to your setup.
