AEM alternator pulley replacement belt for CRX
im trying to track down a LOCAL supplier for the AEM alternator pulley belt. AEM doesnt supply them anymore. its supposed to be 3PK805 which is the universal number for 3 ribbed belt, 805mm (31.7") long.
it seems most suppliers have 3PK785 or 3PK815. i used a 815 and its barely within the max range of adjustment and afraid it might stretch and then be useless.
interestingly, i found out that the 3PK805 is STOCK on late 80's accords and preludes, HOWEVER, only in japan! apparently they have different engines in japan (go figure) so the belts for the US cars are not the same.
i think i can order the 3PK805 from an EBAY supplier in singapore. but i want to know if anyone found a local, US distributor for this belt.
thanks.

It also looks like a nissan sentra uses a 4pk805, its very easy to trim one rib off with a razor blade, I have done it before. does not hurt the integrity of the belt

good to hear you were able to source it. IF this ever comes up on a search you can easily trim a rib or two or whatever is needed off a wider belt and it will work fine. especially in a pinch if it was your daily driver and needed it back on the road
