Looking for the best one to put in my new aluminum radiator. I herd there was a coolant that lowers engine heat by like 10% better than the others? which brand is that? and what exactly will i need to buy along with this to mix. 50/50? Iv never changed my coolant before. lmk
Thanks.
Thanks.
Use a 50/50 mix of Ethylene Glycol (GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!) and Demineralized water.
DO NOT USE PROPYLENE GLYCOL!! (DEX-COOL)
There is no need for any additives in your cooling system, it will not cool 10% better because the thermostat will simply shut more, hence negating your intention, to run the engine colder than normal. Engines do run at 200F for a reason....... Maybe you should read into that.

Search on my name and "fleet charge" I have written a lot on this board in the past on that antifreeze.
The short story: My favorite is a Class 8 truck antifreeze, Fleet Charge, a low silicate, no phosphate, nitrate stabilized antifreeze, it is a purplish-red. I use it in my fleet, Honda's GM trucks, diesel equipment. Almost 10 years now. It's great!
