nah...had my car towed and when they winched it on the flat bed the chain chipped the heck out of my front lip, granted it was on the bottom but it still bugs me. would rather have an easier spot to tow from. just wanna see where everyone else mounts it.

Why not mount it somewhere on the frame behind the front bumper cover and cut a small slot in the cover for it to go through? Seems like that's the most common and easiest way...

that's what i was trying to avoid. i wanna mount it someone secure w/o having to cut the bumper.

See if you can find a spot on the frame where you could mount it coming through the grill then...might have to fab up an extension or bracket of some kind.
