Is the b20b block good for boost with b16 head??
I was wondering if the b20b block with a b16 head is good to hold 450whp!!
I have already 84mm JE pistons and ls eagle rods!!
I was planning to build a ls/vtec, but my pistons and rods came for a b20.
A friend told me that the cylinder walls are narrower than the ls or b18c and
do not hold so much HP. Is that true!! Any help??

i got a b20b stock block with a gsr head. check sig for power and i beat on it pritty good and havnt had any problems. alot say they are bad for boost but its all in the tune
i dont know that i would use the b20 if your looking for 450whp the sleeves are thinner than the rest of the b-series motors...unless you have a badass tuner but still i think thats pushing it.

how about the thickness between the cylinders?
its not just about the thickness of the sleeves more so how the b20 blocks are made.
a piston and rods 81.5mm b18 would be a much better choice for your 450whp goals.
