ok i was just driving home and my car began to over heat.. i didnt let it get over the lil thermostat thingy on the guage.. but wen i got home i opend the hood 2 see what was wrong and it is leaking out from the upper rad hose(radiator side) why could this be or is that even the reason why its overheating?

The reason its leaking IS why its overheating. Is it a hole in the hose? when you accelerate does it squirt out? or is the upper radiator outlet broken.

It sound like you just need to replace upper hose.

unless you have endless amounts of money you don't want to throw parts at a car... so test it!

with the engine cold, hook a coolant system pressure tester up (they aren't expesive), and pump it up to the red mark (i think it's usually around 40psi). start looking for leaks and a drop in pressure on the gage. an initial drop of about 2-4psi from hose expansion can be expected.

replace anything that leaks untill nothing leaks. then you can start investigating the overheating.
