bad head gasket?

Default bad head gasket?

i bought this 91 crx for 500 buckets but has a lil problem the car idles super low and when u try to go it feels like if its building pressure after a couple of seconds the rpms will start going up and the car moves but when i stop it turns off..another thing the car is leaking radiator fluid form the timing cover side of the motor u guys think is a bad head gasket or wat???

500 buckets? Wow!

Your water pump is under the timing cover, I'd check that first.

To check your headgasket; Check cylinder compression, easy as that. Find somebody with a compression gauge. Also, milky oil, excessive white smoke is an indicator as well.

$10 says you have a bad waterpump... might as well replace the timing belt while you're at it.

yea cuz the oil is clean no smoke ill chech that for sure thankx ill paypal u those 10 bucks is ur right lol

No. Get a manual, Timing belt jobs are fairly easy.
