FS: Milwaukee, WI 1991 CRX DX w/B16A2, Rare 15's, and No Rust
The time has come to let go of my baby. I have put countless hours and thousands of dollars into this project. This is one of those automobiles that is becoming harder to find in good condition. If taken care of, it should retain or increase in value. Car was stored while being rebuilt from last August until this past April. The motor has just been broke in with 1500 miles on it, and the wheels and tires have less than 300 miles on them.
Here are the details.
Engine:
Fully torn down and rebuilt B16A2 by King Motorsports (have receipts). New bearings, gaskets, etc. Now has Civic Type R (PCT) pistons w/machined stock rods to accept them. ARP rod bolts were used with this combo. Results in appox 11.8 to 1 compression. Head was also torn down and rebuilt and reattached to the block using ARP headstuds.
Engine Bolt ons:
Blox intake manifold (similar to Skunk/type R), Hasport header, Thermal Research Exhaust, brand new distributor, MSD plug wires and a painted valve cover to top it off.
Transmission:
It has the JDM Integra J1 tranny in it. The gears are super short and keep you in the powerband at all times. Not best for fuel economy, but, i will include to appropriate Integra LS 5th gear set for you to swap in for better fuel mileage (if you wish). Car also has a 7.5lb aasco aluminum flywheel and a clutchmasters stage 1 clutch.
EDIT: I Sold the 5th gear.
Suspension:
Tokico 5-way adjustables with Ground Control coilovers. Rear lower control arms have poly bushings. Front suspension has been replace with newly powdercoated forks and knuckles w/new wheel bearings, Integra brake calipers and rotors and new ball joints all around. Also has an Innovative front crossmember with poly radius rod bushings.
Body:
The body, as it sits, is about a 7.5 out of 10. The roof is faded (it was a one-owner, AZ car when i bought it), minor dings and scratches, and door dings on the drivers side door. This car is 99.5% rust free. The only spot is on the front fender that is about the size of a dime and is most likely the result of a rock chip. The only other area would be the gas filler area where there is a slight hint of discoloration which could be the start of rust if not taken care of soon.
I have added an Si front lip, and removed the rear wiper. The tails have been wetsanded smooth and the front corner and bumper lights have been smoked amber.
Wheels:
These wheels were a rare find. Picked up by my brother out in Boston, they are labeled as DP Motorsport wheels, however no other info has been found. They have a manufactured date of 1988. Prior to last month, they had never been mounted on a car. Drag and Enkei have made similar styles of wheel.
Interior:
I have removed the stock DX seats, and replaced them with Integra LS seats. I decided against drilling into the floor and made small tabs so would work with the stock mounting points. You may wish to fabricate more permanent mounts if you wish. The rest of the interior is mainly stock, with the exception of a Sony CD player and Boston Acoustic speakers, a replica Type R shift ****, and the battery relocated to the trunk.
Negatives:
The transmission has slight grinds. Not terribly bad, but the syncros should be replaced sometime in the near future. Parts would be around $300 and i can recommend someone local to do it for you if you would like.
The mentioned door dings and faded roof.
No A/c or powersteering
Original wire harness had cracks and was affecting the fuel injectors. New injector wires were ran directly to the ecu. I will be providing an extra complete engine harness for the new owner to return to a stock look, or perform a wire tuck on.
I am in the process of sourcing a new radiator for it, as the one i have does not line up correctly (still drivable). Still doing last minute detail work. Car will be available for viewing on the weekends.
P.S. The entire lifeline of my CRX can be found at this link.

Please email to discuss any details and to schedule a showing (the car is not stored where i live, so i may not be able to accomodate short notice requests)
There are many things i am probably forgetting so those will be added to this listing as they come to mind.
Additional Parts that will come with the car:
-An extra black rear bumper
-All brand new hatch molding
-New Molding for the doors, quarter panels and fenders
-Stock front mudflaps
-Stock front crossmember
-Stock front bumper support
After dropping the price a few times, i'm at the bottom limit on what i'll take. I've gotten two offers, one at $3700 and one at $3800. The lowest i will go is $4000 without wheels and $4900 with.
Thanks for looking.

I'll throw in a set of MSW basketweaves for free if you don't want to buy the wheels on the car. They need to be finished/painted.

LS gearset if you want to do the 5th gear swap. Free to buyer.

Free rear bumper, the one on the car has a few scuffs. THought it'd be easier to have a second bumper just in case anyway

Pics of the motor. Remember, less than 1000 miles on this setup. FRESH!

**PM's have been an issue for me. Haven't recieved some/any lately. Please email to discuss: erhamza @ hotmail
