engine missing wires and plugs
hey guys i missing alot of plugs wires ect take look on this pics

what i need to do fix or just drive like that ?

first of all, what kind of engine do you have? but i'm going to go out on a limb and guess. i think someone did a obd 1 conversion. the first picture looks like they extended the map sensor wires to reach the top of the throttle body. the second picture looks like the removed the resistor box used with the obd0 injectors by cutting the box off and connecting the 5 wires together. the third pic looks like the connector you use to set the timing. and the last one i think is the vtec solenoid. thats my guess. i wouldn't be afraid to drive it as long as the computer doesn't throw codes. if that is the vtec solenoid, obviously that won't be working.
is crx 89hf jdmd15b the engine light is all ways on the vtec plug are off just the distrubutor is on so you think i buy a ex engine harnes will fix this
i'd be curious as to what codes the ecu is giving you. also what ecu you have in it. you have an hf which i think should have already had the mpfi wiring. your hf harness would be fine and should have only needed the extra wires to run the vtec and obd1 stuff. but having the codes will make it easier rather than just giving random solutions.

He is right! Check your codes man...looks like they may have gotten rid of some emission stuff.

is wear how they make this car crank.. and yeap is running a hf ecu i changing for si ecu zoon and i cant find some those vtec cables but i dont know where to put plug them
yeah i will see the codes tomorrow and the engine light is on all the time i dont know what to do i mean the car runs fine but is just those missing cables make me mad
so if you have the stock hf ecu hooked up, why would they cut out the resistor box? if you used injectors that didn't need it would everything still work fine? you wouldn't have vtec wires unless you had a vtec ecu. it just won't work. start with codes, and try to establish what you are working with. things like ecu, injector type(check the resistance between the 2 terminals on the injector. i think above 10 are high and below 5 are low. this will tell you if they did something with the injectors), identifying the engine, etc. this will help in trouble shooting.

you need an ecu from a 92-95 civic to work with the z6. (if i have gotten the z6 and a6 confused please correct me. i don't want to missinform anyone.)

if you want to use a 92-95 ecu, you need to do the conversion. what year ex are you talking? if you have a 92-95 ex, then you don't need the conversion, but wiring will not be fun. 90-91 ex will be fine.

companies like apexi and others make a controller that controls the vtec without the proper ecu. don't know alot about these things, but a search should explain. you should be able to use the pm6 ecu from an si or whichever one came on an hf to control the engine and leave the vtec seperate.

i would think its easier to buy the add on controller, maybe alittle cheaper too. no wiring conversions to do. but like i said, i have never used one so i'm not a good choice for an opinion. maybe ask around and see what everyone else thinks about them, and the obd1 conversions.
apparently not alot of people like the vtec controllers. i learned something about them as well. sorry for sending off on a wasted trip looking for one.
thats a p06 ecu. you go by the 3 digits between the "-" marks. this is for a 92-95 civic dx without vtec control. it is obd1 so the injectors don't need the resistor box. did you check on the codes yet?
hey you see that little yellow plug with that rubber thing over it take it off and jump them two wires then you engine light will flash codes... Ha or if you have a obd1 conversion harness there is a yellow wire on that that you ground and it will be you code
detector... That yellow plug should be next to the driver side mount behind it... I guess this is a 88-89 civic.. i dont think 90+ had that plug in the engine bay.
