i have a 92 accord and under the fuel/temp guage there is a icon that shows if a door/trunk is open and under that it says taillight. well i goes on every so often so i check my tail lights and brakes and they all work and are fine and then it will go off when i turn the car off and then back on. Any ideas on why,my guess is one of the fuses Thanks in advance

 

recently replaced any bulbs? might have a slightly different voltage or amprage than the other bulbs. i have seen some WILD things happen with honda's all b/c of a bulb (correct # bulb and everything) being a different brand and slightly different wattage or amprage.

 

I've seen that happen when the 3rd brake light isn't securely mounted. Bumps ion the road, or slamming the door closed, moved it enough to trip the light momentarily.

no i havent replaced any tail lights recently. i did replace my driving light on the passenger front but it is the correct wattage and everything. ill check if the 3rd brake light is secured. thanks
