This question seems to be coming up a lot lately, i'm not even sure if you can get an OEM sunroof installed in an EK hatch at all, the reason being that when you put in an aftermarket sunroof you just cut a hole in the roof, in civic with the OEM sunroof you will see that the hole has flared edges, its not something that could easily be done, maybe with a sheetmetal press. with an EG you could just cut the entire roof out of an Si and weld it in, the problem is that there were no USDM EK hatches to cut a roof out of.
yeesh... I'd probably recommend buying a sunroof car rather than trying to retrofit one, but I think you'll need the following:
1. glass (obviously)
2. headliner panel from a sunroof car (usually EX trim, I think)
3. motor assembly from EX.
4. switch assembly from EX.
5. rails/mount assembly
6. A piller drain hoses
You can these from a junkyard or any Honda dealer, or online from several OEM Honda sellers... I've had good luck with Majestic Honda. I don't think I'd have a dealer do it, as they'll charge you through the nose, and probably don't have much experience retrofitting sunroofs, if they'll do it at all. I'd see if an aftermarket shop will install OEM parts that you bring in.
Also, I wouldn't go with an aftermarket sunroof. In my experience, they look like crap and tend to leak. I've got 7 years and 190K on my OEM sunroof, and it doesn't leak at all.

any body shop worth a damn can do it. ive done it to a 94-97 accord. you just have to buy a roof cut from a civic w/sunroof. swap the roof skin, sunroof, headliner and have them send the roof harness and switch along with it as well. its a really easy process. now if you have a hatch you will need an upholstery shop join the 2 headliners together and recover them as one to make up for the additional length in the rear and the body shop will have to weld the 2 skins together in the rear for the same reason.
I was thinking it had to be a fairly simple procedure. I'm looking forward to doing one (having one done =P). Any suggestions on what roof to get? Sun or moon? and what gen or model of Civic/Accord?
