clutch pedal vibration, feel mushy and creaking sound
NEBody kno wut the problem could be? Jus had car serviced for clutch issues, the dealership replaced pressure plate, flywheel, clutch disc and a bushing and bearing. Ever since a week after the service, clutch pedal starting having a vibrated feeling when depressing, when i first start the car and push the clutch in it makes a creaking sound, and when i push clutch in to shift gears it feels like mushy and vibrates a bit. Sick and tired of dealership taking stuff apart and putting back together, want this fixed once and for all. all help advice appreciated
I am far from a Honda mechanic, but I've had this same issue on another car of mine. The problem was the bushing that connects the clutch pedal to the pushrod that disengages the clutch to the master cylinder, the bushing just wore out. I am not sure if this is the problem but its something simple you can look at yourself without going to the dealership for. Good luck!
Yeah I had the same issue. It drove me nuts and my mechanic was practically no help. I ended up taking the plastic piece/cover under the steering wheel off so I could see the clutch pedal. Then I depressed the pedal and sprayed some wd-40 and let the pedal out. Noise and vibration stopped for a few months then came back. Took 2 min. and sprayed it again and has been atleast a month and no squeak... Hopefully that helps.
