Speedo and tach not working in del sol, is there a common ground for these? No cel.... odometer dont work, gauge lights work, coolant temp and fuel gauge work.... any thoughts?

 

did you check all the fuses

 

VSS connected?

 

VSS is connected and there is no fuse for just speedo and the tach its the whole cluster..... is it possable that the cluster is bad?

 

check your cab fuse box. there should be a fuse for your alternator/speed sensor. does the car run?

 

the car runs.. ill check the fuse agian in the mornin.. but every time i have seen that blow.. the tach still works unless this car happens to have two seperate issues....

I got the same problem,
car runs just fine...
The CEL, indicators, oil , speedo , revs dont work on the dash...
The dash background light comes on..the fuel and temp work

But rest doesnt...does any know what i should do to fix this???

 

replace blown fuse driver side fuse block on my del sol its top row in the middle was a 10 amp on mine double check your fuse block fuse by fuse it can be a bitch but chances are thats it
