Password JDM intake wont even fit...need help!!!
I purchased the PWJDM battery relocator and power chamber intake in hopes that both of these items would fit in my 1990 CRX Si. After some modifications to the positive wire i was able to get the pwjdm relocator/battery installed and the car started up strong
. Now the battery was out of the way so it was ready to place the power chamber intake in place, and IT DIDNT FIT!
The intake was too wide and wouldnt fit between the spark plugs and the side of the engine bay because these metal wires underneath were preventing it from going in. My CRX has a B18B swap so the pwjdm guy told me i need an (EG/EK Civic) power chamber, and thats what i purchased and it wont fit.

i had one. crx/b16. try putting it on loose with intake pointing straight in the air towards the hood then twisting it down into position. its a tight fit, meaning its going to rub. too close to wires/distributer for me so i took it off.
no offence but they DONT make one for these cars for a reason.
The metal wires are your break lines going to the proportioning valve , you might be able to move the proportioning valve down a little to give you more clearance, but if it was me i would return it and buy a intake that makes power not just look pretty.
buy the BPI flow stack and a 28.00 ebay intake from a 92 civic and you will make more power and spent less money

Well i was thinking of just returning it and going for a AEM Short RAM...but i really liked the PWJDM intake but if it wont fit i dont wanna force it and crack it. So i might just see about returning it and going back to the drawing board.
You've learned a valuable lesson about Pasword being overpriced show crap. I've delt with them in the past on similar things and their sales guys don't seem to know what they are talking about. Best bet is either ebay cheapy or something tried and true from a real vendor.
If the metal wires are my break lines then i would not want to try to move or alter those. The password jdm person i spoke to over the phone told me it should fit if i moved the break lines or just unscrewed those wires and pushed them down. Something about that just doesnt seem right. I figured a way to get the intake in there by using some metal tubing extended the intake manifold into the intake but that seems like its a makeshift temporary solution. It would be much easier to just go with aem but since i "installed" and "tested" out the password jdm intake then i might not be able to return it. Even though they said it would fit perfectlty and its no where near perfect.
they do not make one for these cars thats why they do not have one made and posted on there i was thinking about getting one and trying to make it fit but now you have answered my ? lol
but if you get it to fit plesse post some photo's

Yes it does and it also does ****. I read a post a while back where they dyno tested one of these ***** intakes and they actually lost power all over the grid. Thumbs down to the *****.
