Looking to get a good price and good job on a new sunroof. I'm probably going to buy the parts myself (new panel and roof trim) but I've gotten some quotes in the $400 range...just for painting and installing the sunroof? ****!

Any recommendations? Opinions?

I'd try these places:
Jocsons Autobody and Paint/National City
Car Image/Spring Valley
... both do great work but might be on the high side as far as quotes.

WHAT KIND OF CAR DO U HAVE
are you planning on buying all the parts
like the roof panel, headliner , and the sunroof
and just haveing the shop do the work?
there is alot of labor involved in putting a new roof on a car

 

It's a 1989 CRX Si. All I need is the sunroof panel (metal, not glass like the Civic's) and the roof trim piece that goes around the sunroof. Everything else is good enough for now. Besides those materials, it would need to be painted and installed, cause I have NO IDEA how to do it and don't wanna f*** up my car by trying.
