What's goin on guys.I tried to get some help at hondaswap,but no luck,so here I am.

I helped my lil brother do a sohc zc swap into his 1990 dx.Which included the mpfi swap.Everything looked good,and went rather easy but we are at a wall.Theres 2 problems.1)When the car is turned to"on"or accesory or whatever you wanna call it,the main relay obx makes this wierd humming/grinding type noise.and 2)one of the ground wires attached to the valve cover will sometimes spark/heat up/smoke when we try to turn it over.

My questions are whether or not anyone knows about or has had this problem.Also,If I could use a multimeter or something of the sort to check the new wires that have been added to the harness and ecu clips.

I'm really the only person I know that knows jacksquat about cars.So any help with this would be greatly appreciated,since my baby ef wa totaled back in January and I'll get to drive this one till I get a new car.Thank you.
