Default CRX experts: Cambelt for D-series (european) engines?

Hi,

I'v got a D16Z5 engine (european), and i need a new cambelt + tensioner and waterpump.
Not a lot of parts for D16Z5 on the market (referring to online shops listed in the FAQs), so i was wondering if it is sufficient to buy parts which fit D-series, DOHC, non-VTEC engines?

Thx,

Dave

timing belt is the same as 88 Honda Prelude 2.0L Si - tensioner and water pump are both same as 88-91 CRX/Civic Si D16A6

You are sure the Si and Prelude parts fill fit my D16Z5? Remember its a Z5 I'v heard they aren't that common.....hehe.
Thx again.

Dave</TD></TR></TABLE>yes that is the correct timing belt - the D16Z5 is the same engine as the JDM DOHC ZC and that is the belt that it uses - look at the belt that is on it and if it is a Honda belt, it should have the same number - yes the water pump and tensioner are correct - the DOHC ZC (and D16Z5, D16A8, D16A9) all use the same pump and tensioner as the D16A6 - we have replaced dozens of them on the JDM DOHC ZCs - we have done over 40 ZC swaps and <U>always</U> replace the timing belt, water pump and tensioner
