you can get tein springs from an authorized dealer or use any other spring as long as they have the same ID as your stock tein setup. but keep in mind the SS coilovers are valved for those spring rates, so it might be better to have them revalved and springs replaced through tein.

cool thats what i thought about the I.D. but the valving shouldn't be a problem though I think......It has adjustable dampning, wouldn't stiffening the damper's setting be the equal to raising the spring rates and leaving the damping at a lower level??? that may be a little farfetched and tricky to understand with the way I word it......hmmm maybe I will give Tein a call

at full stiff the dampening level is meant to handle the spring on the coilover. in theory it can handle some extra spring stiffness but not much more than it was built for. which means if you put stiffer springs you will wear everything out faster because they are not matched, springs wear out faster because the damper can't handle the spring rate and vice versa.

Yes tein sells diff. rate springs. Someone correct me if im wrong but i think Swift makes replacement springs for alot of coilivers. Just gotta be sure the size of the spring is correct.

swift sells replacement springs for coilovers and also provides springs for zeal. but if he is gonna send them in to handle stiffer rates he might as well get tein springs.

you can swap any coilover spring to any setup as long as the ID is the same. i ran zeal springs on my omnipowers a long time ago and was very happy with them. changed the whole setup feel and responsiveness. they were the same stiffness but the zeal springs had less coils so there was no coil bind like the stock omni springs.

ive always been under the impression that the ss are valve to handle upto a certain spring rate, i forgot the rate, but it was from a convo from a tein rep.

out of the box the SS handle certain spring rates depending on the chassis but they can be custom valved and even shortened by sending them in.
