Default exospeed lenso skinnies...WEIGHT???

anyone know the weight of the lenso skinnies with the M&H tire mounted on them. I'm trying to figure out how much weight I will lose from the wheel/tire setup I have on the back now to see if it will be worth buying them or not.

wow thats more than I thought they would weigh. If you had to do i again would you have bought them? I think the wheel/tire setup each on my car now is about 25lbs. so I wouldn't be saving much.

A 24" skinny tire is about 10lbs from what I remember weighing them at. Our Skinny wheel is about 10lbs.

A regular 15" wheel and tire is at least 30lbs from what I've weighed them at. Just a 14" or 15" tire alone is 15+ lbs.

Not only is there weight difference, but another main reason for using a skinny tire is less resistance due to a smaller contact patch.

That is true but not all of us can afford those nice skinnies
I wish I could buy a set but will have to wait a while.

I had Rota slipstreams in the rear, i then exchanged to Wills skinnies. Lost about 21-22 lbs. I love them and they look great! Picked up some mph about 2-3 average.

I believe I have read in the rule book, you can't use the space saver spare tire.

OP if your one of the faster cars in your class and looking to be the fastest, then yea, they might make sense if the rules allow. If your just a once in a while racer, IMO put your money somewhere else.

Considering they're only rated to about 70mph, no you can absolutely not use them!

I'm by far not the fastest in my class I've done good so far this year but there are a lot faster cars than mine I'm just looking to pull another tenth or two off my time by changing a few things up(besides making more power).

right now I'm running 10.50-.80 @ 133mph. I'm not quite sure how much my wheels I run now weight here is a pic of them

I'm just looking to drop a tenth or two and pick up a couple mph and if I can do that with the skinny setup I'll probably pick them up.
