there just like a front winsdhield. A **** to get out. When the rear glass is put in at the factory they put the trim on then put the window in. So the trim actually wraps around the glass. Call someone to remove it, or youll crack the glass

The lower molding is removed from the lower back of the interior hatch. They are fitted with 5 molding clips and two of the 5 molding clips are held on by screws. Thus, you need to remove the interior hatch cover and you will see two bronze screws. Once you removed the screws, you can either slide to the right or left to take it off.
The molding is part number 73253-SH3-003. I have a brand new molding at a friend's garage for sale if you needed.
Friend's garage is located at Chino, CA.
pm if your interested in the molding

I just did this, chances are the clips of the bottom molding are embedded in the window adhesive. I took the two ends off and slid the strip off, then wiggled the clips out ( I had to go around some to get the window out) Hope that helps....
I purchased the molding the other day.. it looks just like you guys said, it has clips on the molding itself.
I've unbolted the two copper allen bolts, now I'm going to try to remove that molding...
will the new one have to be installed with the glass out?
Thanks guys..
