It's a matter of opinion, they're both top notch brands, either one is fine.

I personally think exedy feels sloppy, but I'm a huge ACT fan too so obviously my opinion is biased.

When comparing those 2 brands it's ONLY opinion on feel - regardless of how many testimonials you read. There really isn't a "better" between those two...

(go act )

they'll probably be pretty comparable, depending on what kind of compound you get, which pressure plate, and definitely how you drive. if you break it in nice and easy for about 500-1000 miles, and don't beat it up constantly, either should last you quite awhile. i know my stock clutch in my first dc2 lasted me about 130k, and my wife's current dc has around 135k on the stock clutch... but she doesn't drive like a bonehead.

there's no telling on how long one brand of clutch vs. another will last, it ALL depends on the driver.
I had a '88 Camry a few years back and it was at almost 200k and the stock clutch was still grabbin' good.
Right now, the stock clutch on my EX feels great @ 123k, the original owner was not an aggressive driver by any means, Im doubtful she ever hit VTEC even once!!
