my boy picked up a d16a1 for free of his cousin. were trying to figure out what is needed to put it into a Eg hatch. will single cam parts fit as in the trans, sensors etc. Just trying to find out exactly what we need to get it done

why?
if the car has nothing i can see that.
but the dizzy wont work, the ijnectors need a resistor box.

only want to do it because the hatch has the stock d15b7 in it and its a dog. can u use the b7 dizzy?

and swapping out this engine for .1L of displacement is worth the agro?
put a z6 head on it, let it eat.

well its got a dual cam head on it... im baffled with this situation, i figured it would be worth it. i was assuming this motor is like a b16 non vtec

Just forget about it, that engine is out of an '86 - '89 Integra. It wont bolt in, its OBD0, you need the tranny that goes with it, and it only makes 11 to 16hp more than the D15B7 depending on the year. Its pretty similar to an early ZC if remember right. Try to sell it and get a D16Z6 or a D15B vtec maybe.
