Changing front rotors
I can easily remove all of the brake hardware, but I can't remove the rotors.
dang these driveaxle hub nut's!
I found out that they are the largest socket that I have ever used... 34mm
are the hub nuts left threaded?
what makes it easier to loosen the axle nuts?
signed, bloody knuckles & bruised knees...

First of all, I'm guessing you are changing rotors on a 5th Gen Accord? Correct?
Did you check out the DIY front rotors located in the Accord FAQ yet?
Anyways did you "unstake" the dimple on the nut? It prob is rusted on. So use some PB blaster. I would use a breaker bar with an extension on it. If not, try some impact wrench. Short burst. It took me 20-30 short burst from an electric impact wrench, but i got it off. =P

if it's a 90-97 Accord then it needs to be remove because of the hub-over-rotor design. The hub/rotor/bearing assembly needs to be removed to replace the rotors. Not as simple as your tradition brake setup.

there was an aesome write-up in the PROJECT CAR Magazine featuring a CD accord on a easy way to remove the rotor without using a press....I have forgot the issue but it was early this year.
My '92 has 36mm nuts. I use a 1/2" drive with a 3 foot long cheater pipe and they came off with ease. I believe the torque spec is 185 lb-ft. I think it's easiest to break them loose with the car on the ground with the tranny in Park or 5th gear. As mentioned, make sure to unstake them with a punch.

you don't always need a press. They should come out ok after removing the 4 bolts holding the bearing to the knuckle but the problem is when they rust together it makes it very difficult.

neither have I
but I live in MI where things get rusty when driven in the winter conditions.
I do recall hearing people having success with it coming apart ok but you just don't hear those stories as much as you hear people asking for help
