ticking noise-mini me
i got a mini me swap with 200 miles on it,d15b7 block-d16z6 head,used all correct parts for the d16 head,plugs,wires,dist.,t-belt,p28 ecu,metal gasket,also have ex tranny. the motor is making ticking noise but it runs great,valves been adjusted twice,could the timing be off? any help greatly appreciated

prob the vavles are bent is it loud? maybe the vavletrain is just noisy most hondas are
no most badly maintained and kept honda valvetrains are noisy just like well kept and maintained hondas never smoke a drop of oil.
the ticking noise u are hearings is your timing. it is to far advanced because u swaped the head, the new head makes your motor have a higher compression then before so the stock timing wont cut it u have to retard your timing some or run a higher octaine fuel, personally i would rather adjust the timing then pay more for fuel as u wont even feel the extra hp but u sure will feel the extra cash
