Default Dumb question: Stroking B16a to 2 litre with OEM part

Guys,

Here's the thing. Some guy just claimed that he can use OEM parts to stroke the B16a to 2 litre. I've been trying to figure it out for 2 days already and I can't seem to get it workable in 2 litre with OEM parts , re-sleeving the motor and modification to OEM parts to fit it. Any info to rid of my aching brain would be greatly appreciated. Nyway, i'm still a noob and i've searched...

Thanks

there is no chance to get 2.0L out of a B16 with OEM parts.

you need to re-sleeve it to 84mm and use aftermarket pistons allong with a B18B 89mm crank.

Exactly what I thought. Going OEM piston won't do because it won't clear from hitting the head at all even with the gsr 87.2mm crank... let alone the 89mm.

Anyway, thanks for clearing that up.
