Default need a little help with 90si

yeah lets see where to start...

i have a 1990 crx si. D16a6 and it had a crankshaft positioning sensor that went out. It is in the dist. so i bought a new dist. Brand New. Now it wont start. It will crank but thats it. I replaced the main relay and the computer. Nothing... So i was wondering what else could it be. Its getting fuel but no spark. Nobody really knows. Someone said timing and someone said ignition. I would guess it could be timing but it was running with the other distributor. I would like to do a motor swap with a GSR motor i just picked up but it has to be rebuilt first. So in the mean time i need to get this one running. Any clue???

i agree with whoever said timing...the dizzy has to be aligned to the correct place...i watched my dad loosen the dizzy and while i was cranking it, he was turning the dizzy and it fired right up

It sounds more like a wiring issue to me. Make sure when you swapped the dist. that while plugging in the harness and disconnecting it you didn't snap any wires. Also take the dist.'s apart and try swapping the ign. coils. It will take about 15 minutes to do.
