What is the best way to extend the steering column
I would like to move my steering wheel back 1 foot. I only have a roll bar so I'm not sure how I would support a longer column.
What would I use to extend the column on a 92 civic and what would the best way to support it.
Thanks

Hey sorry , this is for a road course car with only a rollbar and all the great fab guys are in here
I'm moving the pedals back and I'd say maybe a 1/2 foot extension on the column would be nice. Something without spacers like a extension of some sort that I could tig to the existing column then a hub for the wheel.
I guess I could cut off an existing column and weld on the female splined part but what would be the best way to support it without it flexing around
thanks
