Hey,
I just finished up a gsr swap on a 97 ek. I converted it from obd2a to obd1. did all the wiring, started it up, (was quite surprised it started on the first crank, honda i guess).
The problem im having is it bogs out when you step on the gas. If you put your foot into it really slowly it will rev up but if you just step on it, it will die.
Any help please.

I also would like to know what this sensor is and if it should be wired up:

Here's how to pull OBDI codes:

Have you by chance checked the ignition timing with a timing light?

Believe that's Intake Air Temperature. On a Civic, it plugs into the rubber intake arm, but on a gsr it's on top of the manifold. It would probably work fine plugged into the intake arm, but I would recommend extending the wire and changing the plug so that you can plug it in where it's supposed to go.
EDIT: sorry, Intake Air Temp.

The cylinder position sensor is in the distributor, replace distributor (this is most likely whats causing the bogging. The IAT sensor, you'll need to pick one, there should be one in the back of the intake manifold on the OBD1 engine, and one in the intake piping on the OBD2 car, they both function in the same way, pick one of the two and leave the other disconnected. ELD is in the fuse panel IIRC, however from what i've been told civics will usually throw an ELD code along with another code showing where the wiring fault is thats causing the ELD code (such as short in IAT wiring for example would throw IAT and ELD codes.) vtec solenoid is either not connected, not wired properly or bad.
Usually it will give you a dead spot in the throttle between 1000 - 1500RPM, plugging the IACV connector into the IAT will kill the IAT almost instaneously btw. Don't ask me how I know that.
