Default TypeR Brakes & 2000 Si wheels ?

I searched and came up with nothing so the question is, will TypeR brakes fit inside of 2000 Si rims without any mods ??

I know HypeR is 5 lug, going to redrill rotors to 4-100.

Thanks

Redrilling rotors is a really, really bad idea. It makes them a lot weaker. And if there's one system on the car that you don't want to weaken or compromise its integrity, it's the brakes.

Besides, rotors are relatively inexpensive. For example, ITR front rotors are around $39 and rears $57 at Autozone.

Just get new ones.

Not really worried about the safety of redrilling the rotors because H1 (Honda Challenge) guys do it without any issues. I just don't want to get a set of rims I cant use.

For one thing, just because someone else does something that's unsafe, isn't a reason for you to do it too.

For another thing, I doubt that the Honda Challenge guys do it. The ones with half a brain, anyway.

And remember - when people do something that's stupid and unsafe, the only ones who post about it are the ones who are lucky enough that nothing bad happens. When people have problems as a result of doing something stupid, 10 times out of 10 they're too embarrassed to post about it in the forums (and I've seen quite a few examples of this).

But hey, it's your car - if you want to compromise the safety of your brakes because you don't want to spend a couple hundred bucks on a set of rotors, go ahead. Hey, maybe you'll win a Darwin Award and become famous!
