definately not ideal...depending on the turbo you use it may creep it may not... My friend used the same manifold on his setup with a t3/ to4e and had little to no boost creep... held steady maybe has 1 psi creep which is ok.... not bad since you can pick one of those up for $100 or less .

rev hard style manifold. maybe a little creep. wastegate placement isnt the best

The improper wastegate placement (closer to runners 1 and 2, than 3 and 4) does create some type of creep. Nothing crazy, but there will be creep.

it may creep or it may not. It surely isn't an optimal design to prevent creep though.

thats the revhard/drag style, yes they creep, they suck, for 7psi there OK usually if you have a TIAL 38mm on them, but anything past 7 and they will creep loads, worthless, worthless, worthless, inline pro or meutek is the only cast mani i like...

and it comes down to the size of the turbo and ur rev range to say if u will be pushing it.. but we all know its not the best placement but they been known to work!

I have this manifold now and its boost creeping i have even made the wastegate pipe larger to 44mm and its still doing it and its a to4e turbo i have a limiter set at 6500 rpm and boosting is going to 10 psi on a 7 psi spring (real tial wastegate) i dont wanna bring it back to get tuned and they rev it to 8000 and it creeps to 14 psi again

Take the money you saved and buy a 2.5bar motorolla/freescale MAP sensor. Problem solved.

I would doubt its ONLY the manifold creating the problem. Chinese knock-off wastegates are known for binding up towards the end of their range of movement. I've seen one that would only open halfway until the tophat/spring seat was ground away enough.

The rev hard is a very good cast manifold. It's ac/ps comparable, I used to run a sc-61 on it and it would hold 9psi. My car went 10.8 @ 130 mph with it. Most people bash these things without any first hand experience. For around 400whp, it's prefect.

I have also use the d-series revhard cast manifold and it held 13 psi with no creeps using the ebay 35mm wastegate too.

Put the signal hose for the wastegate to the turbo compressor cover, should creep less, than having it on the intake manifold.

I'm using one of the cast manifolds. Holds 10-11 psi steady up to 8500. T3/T04 60 trim using a Tial 38 mm w/ Hallman MBC. Times in sig.

everyone said the drag mani was crap.
for 5 years, low and high boost with the deltagate, i never had an issue, 17 psi held rock solid.
guess i am an exception to that rule.

on a straight ls engine back in 2000 i had a rev hard kit with that same manifold & turbonetics delta gate, the boost would creep from about 10 up to 13 psi in 3rd/4th gear. when i swaped to a vtec head, it would creep from 10 up to 15-18.

mikey, you didnt have creep cause you have a baby engine
