Hey everyone. My cousin just bought a 2001 Honda Prelude SH (stock) the other day. We are new to the prelude side of things and are trying to find a good website to join like CLUBINTEGRA.COM or CLUBCIVIC.COM but having trouble finding one...anyone know of any good ones?
We both have alot of things to learn about this car and engine before we start planning the project build.
Thanks.

Absoluteprelude.com as well.
To be honest... all of my questions have been answered here on HT, so I am here the most. This is in my opinion, the best site overall.

Only the Jackson racing supercharger is availale for the Prelude. There are a decent # of turbo options available. My personal favorite is Naturally Aspirated for Preludes. If it was a Civic I would turbo it without consideration. But the fact is that when the Lude was being made it was the largest engine besides the NSX that Honda made in the 4cyl trim. So, NA is very appropriate.
What kind of mechanical skills does your cousin have. If he can do his own work, he will be in good shape.
With Intake, good header, exhaust and cams he can be over 200whp.

Ill be the one working on the car I am teaching him what I know he is 16...its just I never learned about the H22 engines im a Integra freak...I have 4 of them. Im obsessed with them. So this engine is new to me.
Yeah I was thinking doing all motor. I just need to find the right combination of parts to go with.
He wants to start with keeping the engine cool. So he is looking for a aftermarket race radiator, fans, and I told him to get the hondata heatshield gasket.

Thats cool. No pun intended!! Hondata heatshield is an excellent start. Koyo radiator or others are okay to. There are many fans. Several sponsors sell fans that move a lot of air (like 1500 cfm or something ridiculous like that).
Another thing with Prelude's that is always fun/advise to upgrade is the suspension if you have the cash. Shocks, springs and def. a rear swar bar all help handling.

However Honda-Tech is a good resource site too!
