Starting with a 97 Civic DX. Have H22, mounts, shift linkage, and prelude axles. Will the outer joints of my civic axles go on? Will my prelude wiring harness work? I have the prelude ECU as well. Please advise, thanks

 

ull need different axels, and use civics ex or si wiring, and ur h22 motor mounts are for ur civic swap or they are stock h22 mounts.

 

The only guy i know with an H22 swap in an EK runs integra axles with accord inner CV joints. i believe prelude inner joints would work fine as well.

 

just get ebay swap axels or combining axels will pain in *** and mess.

 

I have the H22 swap mounts, and only the prelude oe DX wiring. If I want my gauges to work do I have to swap wiring or is ther a way to make them work?

 

Reuse your original civic engine harness, you will need to lengthen wires for certain connectors, add other and you will have to graft in the prelude alternator wiring, start at the fuel injectors and work from there. You will almost always be better of reusing the original engine harness for the car.
