What the hell is wrong with my 98?

Overheating like a bitch. I have to pull over constantly to let it cool down. When I turn the heat on to help, no heat comes out. There is coolant all over the engine bay. Looks like it came from around the intake manifold.

let it sit and cool. pressure test it, fix the head gasket that has probably popped, put new head bolts in, fix the leak, let it eat.
you have a broken hose somewhere. get it pressure hecked and then replace the head gasket while you at it too. if you drove on it overheated, then most likely you warped the head
I've been getting some oil in the coolant reservoir lately.
For the past year, the car has had non-stop chronic overheating issues. I mean, badly.
Replaced the thermostat but anything longer than a 2 minute red light causes the stupid bitch to overheat.

Is your fan coming on? Sounds like its overheating from the fan switch and/or relay, because it seems like its only overheating from a dead stop? Oil in your coolant reservoir is your 100% sign you popped the head gasket. Did the overheating start before or after the noticed oil?

If you've got oil in the coolant think blown headgasket, warped/cracked head or cracked block. If its been overheated several times i'd say pull the engine and drop something else in, as the engine is probably cooked by now.

Seems like before.
Coming in to work tonight ( I only live 3 miles from work- and it still overheated) I noticed when I parked and looked behind the car, a huge splatter/drip trail. You could see exactly where I drove in the parking lot. Earlier in the day, I refilled the radiator with coolant. I'm guessing its all gone now.

Yeah you are burning coolant and shooting the excess out the exhaust, your head gasket is blown and your pouring coolant into the combustion chamber as well as oil into the coolant system.
