i got a 98 civc hatch. did a full auto to manual swap. i got the wiring harness from a 97 civic coupe ex (dash & engine harness). I have a b20 block and b16a2 head. the problem i'm having is that when i stomp on the gas the engine revs fine. but, when i slowly take off the engine bogs, almost dies until i play with the gas and the rpm's are atleast 1500-2000 then its fine. Im sick of spinning at a light when i don't mean to. what could be wrong? the check light is always flashing as if the wire to check the code is jumped. wheres that wire located?

 

it sounds like a you need to recheap your computer box.
it happens to me when i swap engine from sohc to b-16

aswell as doing the swap you may have not done the iac fix ckf bypass or what ecu are you using

 

hey i have the same problem the difference is the i have a ctr but a lows rpm thats the same thing ...???
