I Got A Question?
My Buddies Got A Si HB With A Rebuilt Block. He's Looking For A Little More Power And I Have A Y8 Head So He's Going To Do An A6/VTEC. Then Convert To OBD1, Now I Have A Z6 Cam Gear In The Y8 Head So My ? Was What Do We Use For A Dizzy Or Do I Have To Peace Together One.
Can I Use A Z6 Dizzy Since I Got A Z6 Cam In The Head
Or Do I Have To Use The Y8 Dizzy Casing With Other Internals?

if its a y8 head you can use the stock a6 distributor, but of you guys are going to convert it to obd1 later you'll need a obd1 dx or obd2 dx/ex distributor. z6 will not bolt up to y8 head.

so i can use a dizzy of a D15b7 on my Y8 head for my obd1 conversion or can i put the the z6 dizzy mounting bracket on my Y8 head and use a z6 dizzy
