ok, well, I just found out that my swap is going to be slightly delayed. Because I have the extra time, I have some extra money as well! Right now, I have got the engine and tranny of course from a '97 JDM H22. I also have a cold air intake and the mount kit. I had to go with the bare minimums because of my situation. What other fairly inexpensive mods would you suggest for the swap? I would like to do as much as possible NOW to save money on the installation. Thanx in advance.
Simple maintaince stuff.... new belts, pumps, seals (if needed), and definetely new clutch. Do most of the wiring conversion while the motor is out so when you drop it into your car, you can have it pretty much plug-&-play for your setup. If you're talking about other "mods" to your motor such as internals, cams, headers, etc, I'd mainly focus on getting the neccessities out of the way and swapping it in. Even in stock form, the H22 will make your car run fast.
