Default Idle Search

I need help! I've got a 93 si that idle searchs from about 800rpm up to 2500rpm constantly. I thought it was the TPS, I've replaced the TPS with a brand new one but that didn't fix a thing. I checked the voltage on the TPS and the ECM, they were both in check. I could really use some help the idle search is driving me crazy. Thanks

is this when you are at idle? if so i'd check the iacv. Does it constantly do it or is it only on cold starts? If it is only on cold starts, it's just your car, nothing you can do, older cars do it for some reason. when i first start up my 92, it idle searches, then it idles super high, then it finally calms down.

check for vacum leaks first sir. spray all the vacume lines, and if it changes the idle, there is your problem. this is my last post for the day since i'm on trial, if you need help, pm austinkli.
