i think stage 2 is perfect for a normal street app...the manufacture is up to you(exedy,act,cm,spec,ect...)

well since i dont think he did a tranny swap, when you order the clutch they need to know the make and model of the car not the tranny code...what im trying to say is that they never ask you type of trans it is(obviously since hes ordering a clutch)....most places only have make/model/engine size in their computers not tranny codes...correct me if im wrong

and when they asked you where the tranny came from you had to tell them the year and make of the car right? i used to work at a parts store and there were 4 questions the computer needed to know..what make, what year, what model and litre motor...i guess things have changed...sorry in advance if im wrong

ok so I just put D16A6, since I have the si tranny.

another question: what flywheel should I get??
since I have the ZC sohc, Im guessing that I should still get the flywheel for the D16A6 since from what Ive been told, the only diference in the Zc and the d16 is the cam, valves and timing. that wouldnt affect the flywheel. correct me if im wrong.
and no one seems to know much info on the sohc ZC.

The XTD clutches are the best ones I've found on Ebay. I got a stage 1 for my B18 and my D16, and was impressed by both of them, pricewise and gripwise. Barks 2nd no problem with bone stock engines, even once fully broken in. And only about 100-120 shipped for a clutch. Not bad!

The year of the tranny does matter. The 88 si tranny uses a smaller clutch and I think one less spline. As long as you know the year your fine. Clutch and flywheel should always match the tranny. Hope this helps.

im running a sohc zc with a 1991 si tranny. its all in the tranny. the sohc zc is the same as the d16a6. it depends on what tranny you have. the 88 runs a smaller clutch and flywheel. im running a stock d16a6 flywheel with a excedy clutch for a d16a6. no issues. the other way you can tell is take yours apart and messure your clutch and go to a parts store and look it up in a book.
