1990 ef si hatch problem please help

Default 1990 ef si hatch problem please help

ok i got a 1990 ef hatch si and put a ls in and it wont stay on when i had the ls in my 91 dx hatch it ran perfect and now that i put it in my 90 si hatch it doesnt wont stay on there's fuel, timimg is right, and all liquads are there when i start it up with starter fuilds it say on but when i stop spraying it turns off and fuel pump is working main relay is good but i just wont stay on pleae help

Check if you have fuel in the fuel rail.... make sure your injectors arent clogged...

Your not throwing any codes?

Probably resistor box.

check you main relay under the driverside dash and if its not burnt then check your ecu and make sure thats not fried as well.

possible vaccuum leak to your idle air control valve?make sure all those hoses are tight.I would clean you iacv out and maybe check your throttle cable?(makes sure it's adjusted to where it should be?) Also hows the fuel pump in your si?Just a few things to think about?

thats tru aswell, i would run thru a normal checkup on the motor before you do anything else, u might have forgot to hook a plug up or like red said a vacuum hose or something.

check your distribuitor wiring, the dx and si pins are diferent in the ecu
