Default Jump Mph Need help

I have an 97 civic ex 5speed Mph gauge jumps and sometimes not work. I changed the VSS And the connection cause it had corrosion. Still nothing mybe the cluster???

Any check engine lights?

Did you try spraying some contact cleaner where the sensor meets the harness and where the harness meets the cluster?

dude i garanteed that it's ur cluster... ihad that problem and went throught he same procedures.....it's ur cluster...

well if you checked the vss and cleaned everything up properly, if their aren't any wires rubbing anywhere im sure it would be the cluster.
