weight differences EG vs EF hatch...
Trending Topics
honda swap is a little off their buddy...says my 95 ex coupe m/t weighs a tad over 2400lbs. actually my car weighs 2390lbs m/t!!!
no dumb mounts, no different mounts that put the engine up or back, no hub changes, no off the wall ecu wiring, no dpfi to mpfi conversions, no vtec not working for a week after swap, no adjustable linkage,
**** weight. theres enough reason right there. hahaha jk ef people u know i love you.

Well, my EK hatch(97 DX) w/Ls/vtec &full leather interior wieghed 2420lbs. My EF hatch(89 DX) w/ZC & gutted interior(front seats back) wieghed 1880lbs. My friend's EG hach(94 DX) w/B18C & gutted(front seats back) wieghed 2190lbs. These were all wieghed on the same scale. Just giving you an Idea of actual weights with a swap vs. factory specs.
All information that we have posted is from Honda's website and/or manuals.
Obviously, each car will not be exactly the same... some are weighed dry, others wet- but for the most part, those are the best readings that we could come up with.
And come on-- 10 lbs off?
