Default HID Question

I'm looking to get an HID kit for my car after I get new headlights... I'm looking to get some that have a caster sheild for reasons I'm gonna choose to leave out of this post.

If anyone could steer me to a plug and play kit that has a sheild that would be great, I've been searching for a while and can't find one.. Oh, btw... I'm not looking to spend 9.99 on ebay.

If you're willing to drop some cash and do it right, then you should be willing to do a proper retrofit and actually make use of the extra output HID offers. Otherwise, its a waste. More light without a wider beam just over powers the area, and actually makes it harder to see into the distance.

the casper shields definately cut down on glare, however the output on them is horrible. I was using them for about a week while doing a lense swap on my projectors and i absolutely hated them. There was about 20 feet of unlit foreground infront of the car and the beam was not wide at all. I had 10x the output with h4 halogens. Like the above stated, do a retrofit. Its the only way you are going to get any useable output
